Or rather, I’m sorry to break this to you…

Much as you think you are on the top of the world feeling all so beautiful just cause,
) You are blind.
) Everyone else is blind.
) You think you are so smart to have capitalize the fact that “sex does sell”.
A) All of the above.

I have got to say, 99% of females out here, are just downright ugly, from deep within.

I would not blame you if you are born with an average look (ugly, whatever they say) -but you know what? If that is just the so case, no, I’m not pinpointing you and running away; being all so afraid that your ugliness would rub on me: no, not me. The truth is, you may not look oh-so-stunning but I don’t very much care. I look beyond that, unlike most people (especially those blood-driven men). You can/are still beautiful as you are, if you are–should I say- not trying too hard like how everyone else is doing.

Take for instance, those females who try too hard. Thick foundation, eye liner and rouge? C’mon, you can’t kid me. You are ugly as you are. Why bother wasting so much more effort than you should. I tell you, use those to build your beauty from within instead. You have spent so much time on make up and girlie shits, your insides are rotting. And, you trying to rub "friendliness" physically/ verbally on just anyone? Stuck-up and Ms-know-it-all? Your variety of cheap antics -I couldn’t laugh out more!

Which woman, in her purest self, would like to be treated in the way society is trying to force us into? Which woman, in her purest self, would turn herself to be a sex object in the eyes of others?

A Hard Day’s Night

The Beatles couldn’t have made it clearer:
“It's been a hard day's night, and I've been working like a dog.
It's been a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log…”

Alright, so it’s the wee hour in the morning, but all I wanna do is to scream a mad:

“YEAH!”...

...for such a wondrous evening I had earlier: my photo shoot with Photographer Marcus Wong (Hallmark graduate [class of ‘08!] who has since returned from States!). And boy, we did a great session on his Fashion-editorial inspired shoot.

Look at this welcoming studio, with a wall gallery at its entrance!

Not only that, this session was accompanied by a male model, Y.Q..

Y.Q. is friendly and such a darling who got us yummy Hotdog Buns and drinks for supper. He even climbed over the fence just to have the gate opened for the Make-up Stylist, Hidayah! "A new age of "Men opening the doors" for Women," she added!

I Love Battling You Down, Mr Stress!

I have finally gotten down to it!

Freelance Modeling is feasible, but during "off-peak" periods, I would need one Part-time job to fill up my schedule.

Am I lucky or lucky?

Off for my interview!

I went for an interview session today and this job seems to be my cup of tea!

Not only do I get to keep in touch with the corporate world, I get to meet people (which improves my communication skill) and fully utilize my capability (multi-tasking with numerous responsibilities!). And the best part? There is the flexible work schedule!

Talk about recession! This must be contributing to the fact that interviewers nowadays are not making it easy for job applicants. I have heard of it and it is only till today that I could confirm this fact. Not that it is a bad thing, for I love challenges -jobs that come easy do not entice me as much as one which requires me to prove myself!

During the interview session just now, I was bombarded with all the questions interviewees dread. Not that I went prepared though, but I am glad that my past work experience has taught me well how to handle such situations -I just have to be myself.

"How do you view Stress?" One of the two Interviewers asked.

"I love Stress! To tell you the truth, I see it as a challenge, and I love challenges for it builds me to be a better person. And also, feeling stressful at work just means that I am busy, which is something I would prefer; rather than having nothing to accomplish in the office. In fact, that was actually one main reason why I left my previous company... ..." I said in response.

Need I say more? I Love Battling You Down, Mr Stress!

Castings and "The Amazing Race"!

CASTINGS!

Oh, how I love to talk of this...

There are two main reasons why I enjoy going for castings -the adventure and the casting scenes!

Take for instance, two days back, on Monday, I had two castings to head for.
So what did I do? I spent the whole day, as if I was in the reality show, "The Amazing Race".

With my hand-drawn maps, I had to find my way to the location of my first reporting area at a Production House before heading to my second area which takes me an hour to travel to. (Yes, being a freelancer, you have to bite yourself hard whenever the magical word "Taxi" comes to mind. You have to adopt a business mindset to it... If you could choose, you would not want to put in any capital for the profits to be made, no? Likewise then!)

So the night before, I had to do my research on the best routes to take for my destinations. I would seriously recommend www.streetdirectory.com (for it seems to be the only most reliable site there is)! Though, please, use it with caution. I have had one too many times been given inaccurate information that it brought me to merry-go-round rides!

As I was saying, "The Amazing Race". You know, how it is like for me, going to places I have never been to before? Thus, to me, it is more like an adventure. And getting to my destination, woah, that sense of achievement is too notable to be overlooked!

Now, you must understand. Most casting areas are that of Production Houses, Talent Agencies or such. And usually, they are either situated among rows of shophouses or amidst the maze of industrial buildings! As luck would have it, I had to go to these two places on the same day. Did not help with the scorching sun, thank you. I was perspiring furiously by the time I found my areas. (Record search-time of 20minutes for the first while 45minutes for the second. But fret not, for I was still punctual! In case you did not realise it, punctuality is greatly sought-after.)

And so I did, and I have to go through this "test" before I am allowed to continue for the next race to my destination. All right, enough of "The Amazing Race".

Let me share with you how can one casting go, with this experience I had on Monday.

"You are casting for the lead role with no lines. . . dance as if you are in a party. Camera Rolling..." said the Casting Personnel.

DANCE? DID YOU SAY DANCE? My my, I do not dance but you know what, I could do it!
And so I closed my eyes for that every instance and with it, I transformed my surrounding to that of a party!

"ACTION!"

AND I DID WELL.

It was only after leaving the place did I feel conscious and blushing red. But yes, I enjoyed myself.

That is the thing about modeling. You have to let go of yourself and practise professionalism such that you are able to deliver what is expected.

One thing I have learned throughout my journey as a Freelance Model?

Be confident and behave like you know what you are doing. And seriously, this too can be applied on anything you are working at.

Do Singaporean Dress Badly –Fashionable Singaporeans, Fashionable “Me”?

Do Singaporeans Dress Badly?
This is one of the most debated topics ever since I-don’t-know-when!

What say you?

C’mon, I know just how we dig people-watching, scrutinizing their fashion sense, everything from head to toe… It is such an inevitable human nature –I, too, have fallen prey to such!

To tell the truth, if you would to ask me,
YES, SINGAPOREANS DO DRESS BADLY.

WOAH, hold on there before taking any offense.

Here is something I would like to ask, and perhaps, for you to digress on:
“Should there be no awful clothes; would anyone then be able to commit any fashion crime?”

If only all of the shop owners have such fantastic taste in the clothing that they have had brought into our Island –only filtered gorgeous outfits from the wholesalers!

Now tell me, would it matter, then, if I do not know how to dress well?

Ahhh, if only the world is this kind to us, we would not have to worry about looking like a disaster on the street.

And oh, if you have not noticed, it is a pity we do not quite have our own trend of dressing style, and thus, having to borrow from, mainly Japan and Korea. (Why them? Beats me!)

I am not saying that it is a bad thing though, but amidst it all, it would be good if we were to inject some of “Us” into what we wear, instead of following fashion like a blind rat would do.

One piece of advice: what looks good on others does not mean that it would look good on you too. Yes, we are all that unique -you and I alike- so why would you not take advantage of it such that in the midst of catching up with what is hot in the season, think about how you could do to make the fashion into a piece of you.

One Main Fashion-Don't to Stress On
I reckon it is more feasible to concentrate on Fashion-Don'ts before we even attempt on the Dos department to try to look good. Which, I am sure, you would be able to get with a click on search engine.

I shall address my main concern...

Don't Sacrifice Your Modesty For Fashion
I have seen many victims of such and I must stress that this is, to me, the most important point to note before experimenting the latest fashion.

Of Tights and Leggings...

Scenario 'No-room' 1
Take this girl I had saw recently. She was dressed in a checkered collared Top, with translucent tights, down to the realistic out-of -bed hair pulled into two pigtails. Yes, good that she is a follower of the trend, but wait... Her Top barely covers her full bottom. And the best part is, I think she had forgotten to wash all of her knickers, that she had to steal one from her granny. Her, with her, loose knickers, all in the naked eyes. I know that you feel like you are wearing a pants, but I am sorry, it is not -the fact had been further shown, by your peeking knickers under your tights. Tights with Tunic, yes; tights with Dresses, go ahead; but tights with Tops? That is one with no room for negotiation -a big no from me, if you were to ask.

And regrettably, she is not the only one with such a case...

Scenario 'No-room' 2
How about leggings then? They are opaque!
Well, yes, they are, but I cannot comprehend how does that make it acceptable under tops too. What with it hugging to one's skin, it leaves no room for imagination!

Dressing Up and I
Dressing ourselves up should not be taken in a way whereby once we set foot on the street, it triggers the start of “Who is the Trendiest” competition -not that we would win ourselves a million dollars, no?

For me, dressing up is a personal thing; I take pride in it for it is a show of self-respect and how I would like to be portrayed to the people around. Our body, it is like a clean canvas for us to paint any splash of colors in any way we like. Likewise, I dress accordingly to my mood (and of course, keeping in mind where I am heading to) –I might be in for a dainty look with my pretty dress for I am feeling all feminine today, and the next, I would be dressed up for rock and roll, skinny jeans and my attitude on!

WHAT? PJs’ the In Thing Now? (PJs: Pyjamas)
All right, please do not mind my saying, but are you one of those who goes out in outfits that looks like you are wearing your PJs? Think: lacy Camisoles only suitable in the comfort of your bedroom. Or how about, the growing number of guys, in translucent Singlet, Bermudas and Slippers? And the worse, of course, the REAL PJs; you wear what you seriously sleep in, to places like Orchard Road?

But PJs, are they not made for the light of our room? Minus the fact that it looks too casual -sloppy even- on the street, how about erm, M-O-D-E-S-T-Y?

Can someone please shred me some light of enlightenment on it?

Perhaps it is a fashion statement that I have not gotten to appreciate it yet.
And you know what?

I am so gonna do this PJs fashion (sorry, no translucent camisoles nor nightgowns here), and to further make it significant, I am going to incorporate what I believe: We should not let fashion rob us, we should steal from them instead!

Next up is my trusty belt! My usual dressing would be more of a laid-back-classy style and I would still want to maintain a tint of it in my "geeky" cool outfit.

ME: "Thank you. But you must know, these are actually my PJ and the pants are from my Granny..."

Shafawi: "Don't look like pyjamas!"

Asking him of what he thinks of my glasses, he replies in this cool manner:
"...very beautiful, doesn't look like nerd."

Well, Shafawi, thank you for sharing your view. It was nice speaking with you and your lovely friends!

Awesome, but one group is not enough, I need different opinions!

Searching high and low, walking around the mall... till this guy by his stall catches my attention!

"Oh man, this guy here beats me in my "wonderful" fashion. Look at him! Let's grab him for a picture, and I so need to ask him something!"

YAY! 2-0, another thumbs up for me...

And being the first to see me in my revamped PJs? She was prepared for a laugh but instead, setting eyes on my masterpiece, she added: "You know, it doesn't look weird at all. You look good in it! Maybe you should consider wearing it out for real..."

So, what do I think of it?

Well, it has been such an opportunity to be able to approach anyone, and I must say, I do dig it totally! Although, through the process, I have got rejections from two group of people...

And gosh, being a "fashion icon", unique and standing out from the crowd? PRICELESS!
All the attention as if I am either an unknown celebrity or a walking fashion disaster. I guess the latter would not be the case eh, now that I have my own groups of favorable critics? Hoho!

Which leaves me to this...
Razanah was complaining of the heat from the humid weather. And I went... "Hot? Nope, I don't feel so. In fact I feel it cooling...OH! OOPS! I'm wearing my PJs! Cottons and airy..."

HAHA!

There goes! I guess PJs-wearer-to-public, their reason could be that! What with the weather in Singapore... MUST BE! That is the only reason I could find!

But frankly, I would still like to settle for my usual wear. I mean, this is not my cup of tea; unless of course, it is for something of significance -like this post- I would not mind dressing out of my comfort zone!

What do you think?
People, now that you know of how everyone seems to be more open to "unusual" fashion, do you not think that it is time to venture into it? Come, plan your shopping trip!

You Want to Be a Freelance Model too? -Part 1: Portfolio

So, the hype is on, Freelance Modeling seems to be stealing the limelight nowadays.

C'mon, let us be realistic...
Unless you have real striking features and standing at at least 1.70cm, perhaps then, you should consider making Modeling your main rice bowl.

However, us being Asians, the chance of it happening is slim.

There is Freelance Modeling to try your luck on, and of course to enjoy the experience it has to offer.

You have got the looks and passion,
so how do you get started on it?

Part 1: Portfolio

Look out for aspiring Photographers who are keen to provide you with photography session/s. They are everywhere and could be easily located on the web. Few clicks on the search engine and you are almost there!

But wait, before you jump to it, you have to hear what I have got to share on this!

So you have found yourself a few willing Photographers, what is next?

Check their Credentials
Ask for their portfolios, they would usually be able to provide you with their personal sites which showcase their photography works. Look at their works, specifically under the Portraits section and do a comparison to see if any of their styles suit your taste and requirements.

One thing to keep in mind: not all Photographers are professionals in portrait photography. They could just be a Hobbyist who enjoys shooting girls and have their images in his private collection.

Run a check on the Photographers before committing your time!

You are, afterall, meeting a stranger off the web!
The best way to do is to obtain contacts from the Photographer you are going to work with. It could be contacts of their clients, or even aspiring models of whom they have worked with.

Chat online with Photographer, for this is one good tool in assessing him as a person.

Protect Yourself
There have been many reported cases on the growing number of Self-proclaimed Photographers. They engage models for swimsuit/ lingerie shoots, just for the cheap (free) thrills of it. The risk of falling prey to you being outraged is too much to take. In the first place, I could not see any reason why you would be interested in it; when as a model, you have your portrayed image to adhere to.

I would urge you to come to a decision on the kind of assignments you would like to undertake. Sure, if you would like to go into the line of "Glamour". Think FHM, Playuer, Maxim, Racerqueen; then yes, you could conform yourself in that area. Steer your portfolio towards that, and you would well be on your way there.

(To each his own: I guess it is a personal choice, of which, I shall leave my personal negative opinion of it to myself... for now.)

Basic Knowledge

There are generally, two different sort of collaborations you both can get into:

Time For CD (commonly known as TFCD)
You invest your time and effort in return of your images in soft-copies. These images are usually stored in a CD for your collection.

Time For Prints (commonly known as TFP)
In this instance, you get your images in the form of prints instead.

Do not expect to have all the images of the whole session. The selection of the best images is usually done under the photographer's own discretion. Of course, this could be done flexible, and if time permits, I am sure the photographer would not mind you in for this process.

Copyrights Issue

I would advise you to include this in your discussion with the Photographer. What I usually would do is, to ensure that he informs me whenever my image is used; while on my part, I make sure to quote the photography credits under his name.

What Kind of Images Do You Need?

The standard Beauty Shoot with minimal make up!

In general, you would need at least a set of close-up, ½-body, ¾-body and full-body images.

You may then explore other theme of images to portray your diversity in your looks and poses. Surf the net, browse through the magazines: these could be the places to get your inspiration from.

Costs?
Photographers work in different ways.

Some would be willing to bear all costs for the shoot -say the studio rental as well as roping in of a Make-up Artist.

There would also be cases, where you would need to do your own make-up and have your shoot taken outdoors.

It depends on how you negotiate your way, and how far both you and the Photographer are willing to go for the sake of getting the ideal images together.

I would think that a whole day under the hot sun would be torturous, and not to forget the boredom too...

Boy, the sun was scorching mad, all right, but you would not believe how I had enjoyed myself!

AND JUST HOW HUGE IS THIS AREA?

Mind you, that is just a fraction of...

CHANGI EXHIBITION CENTRE

This is the same area where the Singapore Air Show would be held yearly.

Once again, a hermit coming out of her shell into a whole new place! I was quite taken aback with the size of this place -imagine how cool it would be, holding your personal parties and car races here!

Stepping into the function room, I was greeted with this lovely layout:

On the left of the room is where the holding area for their internal personnel is; in addition to the tea reception and registration area. While on the right of the room, is the seminar section where talks were given to their esteemed guests. I must say, they have engaged very good host as well as trainers (one of whom even flew in from Brisbane!) for the seminar. Fancy me, getting all intrigued by the videos and topics that they had provided insights on!

And here, may I present you, the Lucky Two who graced this event:

Both of us were given a free and easy schedule. Amidst the seminar, we explored the whole place. While poor me, paid uncountable visits to the washroom -bad weather, I actually gulped down 7 bottles of distilled water!

I do not know about you, but I...

I played Warehouse Cop (Think: The movie, Paul Blart: Mall Cop)!

"Beware, intruders! This is my territory for me to safe-guard. Now, move along..."

So what is it that I am on?

Some of you may have already known, not me though!

And thus, my bombarding of questions to the Segway Trainer...

Segway Trainer is from Segway Sentosa. And it was nice of them to have an Introductory-booth set up here for everyone to try on the Segways. Hop along to their site and get yourself on a Segway Fun Ride through the beaches of Sentosa!

I love how this transport is so user-friendly! What with its ultra-sensitivity to my body movement, it moves exactly how and where I want it to... For a left turn, all you have to do is to place more pressure on your left foot, and vice versa for a right turn. Moving forward would take a slight bend forward on the handle; while to stop, all you have to do is to either stand equally on both feet, or get yourself in the position whereby you stick your bums out!

My first try on it was scary. I mean c'mon, it was something foreign to me, you can't expect me to love it right away!

But gosh, after the supervision of the Trainer, I was well on my way, zooming all over the huge exhibition hall.

Yes, seriously zooming high and low, fast and steady, all over the hall!

Both of us had such fun. And I dare say, you would love it the same too!

Ditching our fun part, we went along to join the circuit training,

...as spectators. If only I was in one of those cars!

Soon before I knew it, it was the end of everything!

Winners emerged; prize-giving pictures taken...
I took in one last sight of everything before I make a move.

And ahh, the evening sight that waved me goodbye...

Next Magazine (HK) Visits Capella | Editorial @ Ski 360°

What splendid days I have had for the past two days. Like woah, just which Lucky Lady is smiling at me, getting me into two very fascinating assignments, one after another.

DAY ONE

Capella Singapore, a 6-star luxury hotel located at Sentosa Island, and while for the day after... (we shall go into that later!)

Seriously, what with all of its exquisite architecture and design, along with the most attentive and unassuming service staffs, I give my two thumbs up for Capella!

Such an exposure, all thanks to Next Magazine, a Hong Kong-based publication -they had a reporter and a photographer flew in to cover an editorial for Capella Singapore, with me engaged as their model.

And gosh, I really have to rave on and on about this resort-themed hotel. Somehow, stepping foot on it, I was magically brought oversea -I still could not get over the fact that it just gives me such serenity, feeling so away from the city buzz of typical Singapore... YOU HAVE GOT TO EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF!

So here I am, in the room, waiting for the reporter and photographer. Boy, am I glad to have the company of the a very duper ultra-nice Public Relations Executive of Capella.

But still, that does still give me time to goof around with picture-takings! And here is something for you to wow at:

With the room tour and laying out of my clothes (yes, I do have to iron them myself amidst all these!), We are all set out for the shoot!

We were led to a couple of areas, and here are some of which I could shamelessly whip my camera out for some quick snaps!

It is delightful to know that behind this, is the tea reception area, more like a cafe for avid readers!

I wish I had taken as much pictures as I should have! I feel sorry for myself...

The villas, the gorgeous "three-tier" swimming pools overviewing the scenery up from above, the outdoor lounge, the walk ways, the soothing interior design -everything of the magnificent buildings of Capella!

A couple of hours in there and it could sweep my feet away -like I'm on cloud nine- I would kill to be a few-day resident there, to relish in the romantic view of the night.

CAPELLA, JUST YOU WAIT -I WILL "SAVOUR" YOU THOROUGHLY -through and through- ONE FINE DAY!

DAY TWO

What pays you to have you aching all over your arms, sun-burnt and yet got you gushing in this indescribable adrenaline rush?

EDITORIAL ASSIGNMENT AT SKI 360°!

For those who have not seen/ known of Ski 360° yet:

IT WAS MY FREAKING FIRST TIME WATERSKIING!

Right, to tell you the truth, water and I, is like... dogs and cats -"Meow, go away, Mr Water-woof!" But, somehow I turned into a tigress and agreed to undertake this assignment.

AND SO MY ADVENTURE BEGINS...
(I was so afraid, it had elapsed my mind to bring along my digicam! Apologies, for the lack of my own pictures. For better illustrations, images have been extacted, as per the credits under each of them.)

First shoot: some snaps on me browsing through the Pro Shop and registering at the counter. (I must say, it does not help that I have to sign the Indemnity Form before my briefing. I mean, yes, I know this is the standard procedure, but that just got reality sinking in: I am not dreaming, I am actually about to get into the water!)

Dressed in my life-vest and helmet, the instructor went through with me on a short briefing. That was when I was being introduced to the Kneeboard. (It is a ski board whereby we were to knelt down on it, with its strap secured over our thighs.)

"That's for beginners, and kids," he added. I laughed, "For kids," I repeated after him, more to comfort myself.

And with this bar code strapped on my wrist, I scanned it on the system and before I knew it, I zoomed off! Holding real tightly on the handle of the cable, I started talking to myself while putting all my concentration on it.

"Alright, steady, here you go."
"Oh no, the board is shaking; duck your body lower, lower; yes, I gained control!"
"Uh-oh, the first turn. Pull the handle to your left, push your front body to the right!"
"Yes, I did the turn well!"
"Boy, am I good at this; I feel like a pro already!"

On and on I went, till the seconds before the last corner of turn, a thought suddenly stuck me real hard...

"Right, so now, how do I stop ? I have to fall into the water to stop? Gee, I can't stop; hell no, please. How, how, how..."

DANG!

The cable snapped hard...
in I fell, HEAD FIRST!

I struggled under, "Oh, no, why isn't the vest floating me up...", and that was when I realised I have to remove the strap over my knees.

I SURVIVED!

Stranded in the middle of the water, I have to kick myself back to shore, yet at the same time, look out for on-coming skiers. I kicked and swim the life of me. I took a good 10 minutes just to reach the exit sign. Panting like a mad dog (oh, CAT, I mean), I dragged my aching legs and arms, while at the same time, having to carry the kneeboard, all the way back to the starting point.

PHEW.

The aches and the fear, it had got me shivering all over. I seriously doubt I could do it again. The shooting crew were so understanding that they allowed me to rest and calm my nerves. I sat for like ages, talking myself in for the next ride for the photographer needed more shots of me on it.

WOAH, I felt like I was in some American's Next Top Model show; you know, the segment where they were to push their fears aside, photo-taking session with snakes, doing flying stunts and such?

HAHA!

(AHEM, I must add, everyone paid their compliment on how well a first timer I was on the kneeboard! I did not believe it at first until I saw many others, who sunk into the water few seconds after their take-off -ahem ahem, not bad eh?)

And boy, was I glad, when I finally managed to muster up my courage. Just one last shot, and that is it, I thought to myself.

This time round, the crew wanted a shot at the double-partners on a kneeboard. An instructor was asked in to team up with me. He is a nice chap from Greece and yet could speak in Malayu! While quening up for our turn, I was amazed by how well he had assured me when I was almost in tears relating to him just how afraid I am, "...just the part where I was suddenly sinking into the water... that trepidation..." I explained to him.

So how do you do the couple-kneeboard "stunt"? One partner would have to knelt down while the other (me, in this instance) would have to squat behind. With my arms closing in and locking on his chest, "blending in" with his body, the instructor (in the front) would hold and control the handle of the cable.

ZOOOOOMMMMMM~~~

Off I went, rounds, cuts, ducks, I had my eyes shut tight for the first few seconds. Then came the part I fear most -he asked me to let go of him when we were to sink into the water to end the ride. In I went, but I must say, at least this time, I did not get to swallow the water and smell it bad!

YAY, I have finally overcome my fear with this second round, and I thought my ordeal is finally over, until...

the crew requested us both to be on the WAKEBOARD.

I DID IT ANYWAY...
AND SCREAMED MY LUNGS OUT.

THEN...
I got pleasantly surprised!

It felt so good, better than in F1 race cars (not as if I have had been on them before, BUT...); I was told to bend my knees, push my body weigh from one side to the other, and all in all, "blend in" with his body. The rush of excitement was too good to be true -I ACTUALLY WAS ENJOYING MYSELF!

Until...

We had to stop, which means, falling head first into the water... NOT! Once we were off the cable, we gradually sunk in, while our heads still being above the water. I was so incredibly wowed by this fact that I kept telling the instructor how great he had made my day!

JUST WHEN I WAS ENJOYING MYSELF...
I was told to do one last round before we have to wrap everything up =(

And this time, I was told to let go of my hand and wave at the camera when we skied past one of the corners.

AND IT WAS TIME TO PACK UP...

We said our good byes and off we go; while me adding in response if I were to come here to ski again: "Yes, I definitely will; BUT, only if that same instructor-partner is there for me!"

Gees, what a day, do you not agree?

Where Am I?

The crossroads in life...

I could still recall, the very first time when I was being led alone into this route of Life. There I was facing all the endless possibilities it would bring, and I had to make a choice. This choice which would determine my next step to take towards building an ideal future ahead... which I would like to think of it as, my destination.

I see Life as one on-going journey, filled with many twists and turns, dead ends and most importantly, the CROSSROADS. This is where we would stop in our track, check if we are heading in our intended route, or perhaps, a decision to make: "should I take a left or right turn?"; "should I continue on this path or take a break?". To put it simply, we take check of where we are.

SO, WHERE AM I NOW?

This crossroad, I'd come upon a month back, got me running backwards...

Don't ask me where in the world I had gotten my courage from, but I resigned. I had resigned from being a better-paid-than-average Marketing Executive.

WHY?
To catch up on what I'd missed -Adventure Lane: Exploration of Life!

And this blog shall be for my markings of my life journey.
